WASTE AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT
On the water, we try every day to limit our environmental impact as much as possible.
We have selected local partners who ensure the recycling of cigarette butts and are responsible for collecting our compost.
Thanks to EcoMégot, Mon Petit Seau and Véolia that we manage to process tons of waste every year.
In 2021, the Sicambre restaurant boat proudly displays 4 photovoltaic panels.
Since 2022, the Sicambre has been equipped with 8 electric batteries which allow hybrid navigation of the boat. That same year, Les Bateaux Bordelais joined the network ATD, Acteurs du Tourisme Durable (Sustainable Tourism Actors), as the first boat company: proof that river tourism and sustainable tourism can sail side by side!
