General Conditions of Use of Gift Vouchers & Gift boxes
Preamble
These general conditions of sale and use concern the following companies hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider Companies”:

As well as the websites which they own, particularly «en.lesbateauxbordelais.com», «es.lesbateauxbordelais.com» & « lesbateauxbordelais.com ».
Conditions of sale for gift vouchers & gift boxes
1.1 When purchasing a gift voucher or gift box, you have 30 days to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to give reasons or pay penalties.
1.2 Cancellation will result in a refund of all amounts paid no later than thirty days from receipt of the cancellation letter or e-mail. In the case of postal delivery, shipping costs will not be refunded in the event of cancellation of the gift box. The gift box code will be disabled.
1.3 Gift Vouchers and Gift Boxes issued by the Service Provider Companies are valid for one year from the day of purchase. Beyond the deadline, Gift Vouchers are neither refundable nor exchangeable.
1.4 Gift Vouchers and Gift Boxes are payable 100% upon ordering and will be sent upon receipt payment.
1.5 Lost or stolen Gift Vouchers and Gift Boxes cannot be exchanged or refunded.
1.6 Gift Vouchers and Gift Boxes are not valid for special events such as: wine festival, river festival, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve and any other period during which the price is not that usually charged by the company.
1.7 The beneficiary must take all useful measures to preserve and protect the gift voucher code. The service companies are not responsible in the event of communication to the public and/or disclosure of these confidential elements.
Case of gift boxes purchased from partner brands
Partner brands :
Purchases of gift boxes are subject to the conditions of sale of each partner brand.
Before any purchase, find out the exchange and refund conditions that apply in the partner brand. .
Gift boxes are activated upon checkout and payment. Any non-activated gift box cannot be used. In the event of an activation problem, proof of purchase of the Box (order confirmation email or receipt) must be provided to obtain subsequent activation of the Box. We therefore invite you to keep your proof of purchase carefully.
Case of gift boxes purchased from Fnac and other brands with the France Billet networks - Billetel or Ticketnet
You have a ticket / voucher / vaoucher. This ticket is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. It must be exchanged with the company for a boarding ticket specifying the date of the chosen service.
Purchases of gift boxes are subject to the conditions of sale of each partner brand.
Above all purchase, find out about the exchange and refund conditions that apply in the partner brand concerned.
Conditions of use of gift vouchers & gift boxes
2.1 Reservation required with the service provider
In order to benefit from the service offered by a gift voucher or gift box, the beneficiary must make a reservation with the company- provider.
Persons arriving for boarding in possession of their gift voucher or gift box and without reservation will be refused access.
Reservations for gift voucher services & Gift boxes are subject to availability of services on the date desired by the beneficiary.
2.2 Reservation procedure
Reservations with the service provider can be made:
NB: as the telephone switchboard experiences busy periods, prefer to make a reservation on the website.
Reservations are open 2 months in advance. Prefer low season months and weekdays for more tranquility.

- Identify your gift box by writing down its code in the “You have received a gift box” section
- Select the number of participants, options, and date then validate
- Identify yourself or create an account and validate
- Your order is confirmed, you will receive your boarding tickets by email
2.3 Special cases
Special case of reservations for the Tasting Cruise Pass - Cité du Vin
Once the reservation has been made, you will receive by email:
Tickets for the visit to the Cité du Vin: must be printed, mobile vouchers will be systematically refused.
Boarding tickets for the cruise: electronic tickets accepted
Special case of reservations with France Billet - Billetel type tickets (purple color) or Ticketnet (pink color).
These are exchangeable tickets.
Reservations must be made by telephone or email. When booking, the beneficiary will receive a boarding ticket only after exchange of TICKETNET or FRANCE BILLET tickets. The exchange can be done either by mail or at the kiosk-boutique.
Special case of France Billet tickets - Billetel and Ticketnet for the service: Tasting Cruise Pass - Cité du Vin.
The customer must make the reservation by telephone, email or at the kiosk-boutique and must give the service provider companies the stub of his ticket(s) so that the service provider companies can deliver it to him personally or by e-mail. -email entry tickets for the Cité du Vin and boarding tickets for the cruise.
Please note, the Cité du Vin is not authorized to receive and issue tickets or for the visit to the Cité Wine, nor for the cruise.
2.3 Cancellation/Modification of reservations for services with gift boxes
If it is impossible to honor the reservation made with a gift voucher or gift box, it is imperative to notify the company. Otherwise, it will no longer be reusable after the validity date. The customer is required to keep their gift voucher or gift box. This may be requested on the day of the service.
Recorded reservations may be modified or canceled under the same conditions as those set out in article 5 of the general conditions of sale.
< br />Gift vouchers and gift boxes are not nominative, they are transferable, but are neither refundable nor exchangeable.
If customers or beneficiaries are not present on the day of reservation, the Gift Voucher or gift box is lost.
Conditions for exchange of gift boxes
3.1 Gift vouchers and gift boxes can be exchanged by the recipient during their validity period for any other service offered by the service provider company for an equivalent value during the initial purchase.
3.3 Case of a price difference during an exchange
If the amount of the new service chosen by the beneficiary is more expensive than the purchase value of the gift voucher or gift box, the beneficiary will have to pay the difference when exchanged.
If the amount of the new service chosen by the beneficiary is less expensive than the purchase value, the beneficiary may request a credit for the difference. The credit will be valid for the entire period of validity of the initial gift box.
No cash refund will be made in this case.
